ANXIETY

Anxiety can feel so incredibly debilitating. When we fall down that rabbit hole of anxious thoughts, it can feel impossible to find your way out of it. We often feel helpless, hopeless, and drained by it.

I am here to help you understand the strong connection between your thoughts, emotions and behaviors (basically how they love to work together to continue the cycle of anxiety).  We will work side by side to break this negative cycle through identifying unhelpful thinking patterns, challenging your negative beliefs, and building effective coping strategies to reduce your symptoms of anxiety. The goal is to gain confidence so you can better control/manage your anxiety and reduce your symptoms.

SCHOOL/COLLEGE RELATED CHALLENGES

I provide support for students (elementary through graduate school) working through all of the pressures of academic life. I am here to help you with managing your anxiety around upcoming exams, projects, and homework, coping through academic burnout, adjusting to campus life and new schools, navigating through the ups and downs of social challenges, and balancing your school and personal obligations. I am here to meet your needs with a focus on building confidence, reducing stress, and promoting a healthy well-being both in and outside of school.

LEARNING DIFFERENCES

As someone who has personally learned how to navigate my own learning differences, I bring both professional understanding and lived experience to this work. I offer a supportive space to explore challenges, build on strengths, and develop practical tools for managing stress, self-doubt, and academic or work-related pressures. Together, we focus on fostering confidence, self-advocacy, and resilience.

RELATIONSHIP & COMMUNICATION ISSUES

I help individuals explore how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors impact their relationships. Using CBT, we can identify unhelpful patterns, improve communication, and develop healthier ways to  build stronger, more satisfying connections.

DEPRESSION

Depression often affects our motivation, self-esteem, relationships, and daily functioning. We can feel so tired and hopeless by the weight that depression holds over us. I want to help you untangle the thoughts and habits that can make depression feel so heavy. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help individuals understand how your thoughts, feelings, and actions are connected and to identify patterns of negative thinking and behavior.  Together, we challenge self-critical thinking, build healthier perspectives, and re-engage in meaningful activities. My goal is to support individuals in developing practical tools to manage symptoms, increase emotional resilience, and restore a greater sense of hope and connection.

PARENTING OVERWHELM & DIFFICULTIES

Parenting can be incredibly overwhelming, and seeking support is a courageous step. As a parent myself, I understand how challenging and stressful it can be. I use CBT to help you better manage stressful or negative thinking  patterns. I also use a strengths-based approach to help you recognize what you are already doing so well, which can be hard for us to see ourselves when we are struggling. We can identify your needs and explore the ways that you can improve your self care.  Together, we will find strategies that are realistic and useful to reach your parenting goals.

LIFE STRESSORS & TRANSITIONS

As we all know, life comes with many changes-- some that we expect-- and some that we don't.

Any change (whether positive or negative) can bring on stress, uncertainty, and overwhelming emotions.

I help individuals navigate through various life transitions and stressors such as career changes, High School and college graduation, transferring to a new school, relationship changes, relocation, and many more challenges.

I am here to help you through any changes in your life with increased insight through understanding and identifying unhelpful thinking patterns, managing your emotional responses, and developing your own practical coping strategies.
